At our studio we deal with custom-made items, so we don’t have an in-house collection or any stock on hand. When placing an order, our clients bring in their designs, ideas, preferred items or precious stones and we offer a consultation. In France, it is common to order a long-lasting item with an original design from a jewellery studio as a special gift for their relative’s wedding or to celebrate the birth of a baby.
To produce authentic fine jewellery requires a high level of skill, discipline and vision in each stage of production, such as cutting metal, filing, and polishing.
Our work is mainly done by hand, and we personally process even small metal parts, one by one, as per order.
Completing pieces this way adds a subtle beauty that can make every day seem like a special one, when you wear the item. It will be a little something that can be worn throughout your life, regardless of fashion trends.
アトリエでは基本的に仕立て物のみを扱っているため、自社コレクションやストックは持っていません。
オーダーの際には顧客様のデザインしたアイデアや希望のアイテム、もしくは仕立てたい石などを持ち込み相談します。フランスでは親族の結婚や出産のお祝いとして、オリジナルデザインで一生使えるアイテムをこういったアトリエに依頼することも一般的です。
本格的なファインジュエリーの製作には高い技術が求められ、金属をシンプルに切る、やすりをかける、磨く、などの各行程で鍛錬とセンスが求められます。基本的に全て手仕事で、細かなパーツなどもオーダーに合わせてひとつひとつ金属を直接加工していく方法でお作りしています。
こうして完成した一点は、日常の中の少し特別な日にさりげなく華やかさを添えてくれ、流行を超えて長くお使いいただけるものとなります。
